Prior to delivery, delivery teams will uncrate, remove all packing materials, and inspect or visual product damage. If you prefer your product to remain unopened, please let your sales professional know during scheduling of your delivery. Delivery Teams will connect your appliance to existing water connections, drains and your home’s dryer exhaust duct.
A new hose is required if not already supplied for all washers and for dryers that feature steam. These items are available for purchase at the store only. Please note that Delivery Teams are unable to access areas outside the room the appliance is installed in for connections. Including, but not limited to attics, crawlspaces and basements. Unfinished connections cannot be connected by the delivery team, and we reserve the right not to connect appliances in situations where the delivery team deems it unsafe to do so. Each unit will be leveled, cleaned, and tested for operation. Shipping pins will be removed at time of delivery. If you wish to keep the shipping pins in place, please let the delivery team know.
Our Delivery Teams will be in contact with you the evening before a scheduled delivery to set an estimated time frame for delivery. We strive to be as accurate in these estimates as possible, but these times are not guaranteed. If your schedule changes or you foresee not being able to be home for your delivery, please let us know as soon as possible.
Will our Big Sandy Delivery Team need to make any special arrangements to get to your home? Examples include crossing toll roads, ferries, restricted bridges, under low or through narrow overpasses, and being in areas where turnarounds are difficult. If so, please let us know as soon as possible to prevent delays in getting your delivery completed.
Big Sandy Delivery Teams are unable to connect gas appliances. You may purchase this through our Installation Program - just let your Appliance Expert know. Delivery teams are also unable to disconnect existing gas appliances. Existing gas appliances only qualify for our haul away program provided that they are disconnected upon arrival of the Delivery Team.
Big Sandy Delivery Teams can haul away the appliances you are replacing. There is a $19.99 charge for this service, but you must let your Appliance Expert know at the time of sale, so space can be reserved on our delivery truck. If the Haul Off has not been requested prior to the day of delivery, we are unable to take the item.
