Double oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven 2 months ago. I like the visibility of the oven looking in from the glass door. I find it a little strange that the oven temperature when preheating says it it is at the desired temperature when in reality it really it is 50 degrees less. You have to wait a bit longer to get the oven to the temperature you want. Just plan ahead. Overall I like the oven. It is quiet.

Second time around

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and have been having trouble with the temperature not getting up to the set temperature. I am also really disappointed in the volume of the beep that signals when the oven is up to temperature or when the timer goes off. IS there a way to turn it UP??? The bottom oven inner glass exploded.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible customer service. I had this double oven installed in December 2023 and at first I loved it. But in February while I was baking cupcakes in the lower oven the inner door glass suddenly exploded for no reason. I had a horrible customer service experience with KitchenAid trying to get it fixed. Online help was no help, the chat box was ridiculous and you can’t reach anyone by phone, all bots that “ask” irrelevant questions. Finally the retailer where I bought it helped me set up a service appointment. They’re coming tomorrow. I hope KitchenAid will honor their warranty.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been a fan of Kitchenaid appliances for years, having purchased several stoves, ovens, fridges and numerous countertop appliances. Recently I replace a Jenn-air double oven with a Kitchenaid convection double oven. I am thrilled to be able to convert recipes to convection reducing temperature and/or time! It’s the best!

Double wall ovens rule!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) 1. So far, I have NOT found that convection is giving me even heat (in both ovens). I still need to experiment more with pan size and placement of pans and racks before I make a final judgment. 2. LOVE the big windows to see in when the ovens are in operation. 3. Satin Glide roll out extension rack is a very STUPID idea, and I removed the entire rack as soon as the oven was installed. Why? I'll invite you to come in and clean it when the time comes. 4. Not sure I will ever use easy convect mode, as you need to specify how long to cook, and it starts as soon as the pre-heat is finished. This is not good, as it assumes you are ready to cook as soon as the oven is hot, and in my case, that is usually not the case. Perhaps I don't understand, but I don't want to become a slave to the machine. It is there to work for me, and the last thing I want is for it to turn off when the food is not fully cooked yet Overall - so far - I am very satisfied..

Easy Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The double oven is terrific. Unlike my last one from another mfg, this oven has lot of feature and the controls are easy to use and remember. The blue interior gets lots of comments. The fan is much quieter than our old oven. The chimes are pleasant and unique, not a harsh electronic alarm sound.

Great oven for the first 5 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in June 2023. The ovens were working just fine and we were very happy with it. Then right before Thanksgiving, both ovens would not turn on and 2 error messages showed that there was a circuit panel issue and a fan blower issue. We immediately submitted a warranty repair request and the assigned local repair company ordered a replacement circuit panel and fan blower from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the parts were not immediately available. Our oven was finally repaired on Jan 9, 2024.

Great product
