We have had a KOCE507ESS20 unit less that two years and have had nothing but problems with it. Cooling fan error before the one year warranty was up and they wouldn't pay for it. Relay board error. Microwave keeps running after stopped. Door on microwave has to be shut hard sometimes or else it thinks it is still open.

Disappointing purchase

I bought this a month ago and am very disappointed. Oven takes forever to heat up. There were very limited if any directions for the convection feature. Used the convection oven and it started bellowing smoke no idea why because we used it twice already. Dimmest light in MW can’t see how the food looks. Button controls seem antiquated and not user friendly.

Too bad you can't "test drive" kitchen appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this oven about 3 months ago and are not that impressed. Microwave fan continues to run even though the oven has stopped heating, making it hard to know when it's finished. Operating both ovens simultaneously is confusing. Takes just as long to preheat as the 40 year old Thermador it replaced. Have been looking for another "easy pull out" rack, but not able to find one for sale on your web site. Opened the oven door last night and one of the mounting screws fell out on the floor. Attempted to replace it and found the hole was too big for the screw to grab. Looking for a replacement Installation, while not the manufacture's fault, was weird. The installer's helper quit half way through the install, and walked off the job.

Needs written instructions on use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this oven for a few weeks and so far pretty good. The popcorn feature in the microwave won't even fully pop a small personal-sized bag of popcorn. The microwave lacks power. I might have given the oven a 5 star review but the oven came with ZERO instructions. The oven came with several cooking "items" that I have absolutely no idea of what they are for. One looks like a mesh metal basket. Is that for the oven or the microwave? One kind of looks like a rectangular broiling pan but there are strange holes on the edges. There is a round metal rack thingy that I think is for the microwave because it looks like it would fit on the round glass tray, but it's metal and I thought you could not put any metal in the microwave oven. The manufacturer brags that the oven does all these great things such as air fry, but then doesn't tell you how to do it. There is a "crisper" feature in the microwave or is that the "airfry" too? Sadly, I probably won't even try any of the features because I don't know how and it is too much trouble to figure it out, or hunt for YouTube videos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ability to set the timer seems to be intermittent sometimes, when the microwave and oven are on simultaneously, NOT able to set timer. The Jenn Cooktop runs hotter than it should. So I cook most things on low or it burns.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 27 in. unit replaced a double oven that was over 20 years old. It fit nicely into the old space with a bit of extra room at the top. I decided to install it this way so that the microwave was at eye level and this oven matched the position of the old lower oven. I built an extra shelf in the space above the MW so that I could store extra pans and racks there. All features of this product work well. It's also nice to be able to calibrate the oven, but I did not have to on mine. After 2 months of almost daily use, my only complaint is that when you enter the weight of food to be defrosted in the microwave, anything above 1.5 pounds, the defrost time is almost ridiculous. 2 pounds shows over 17 minutes, and 3 pounds can show over 45 minutes depending on what it is you're defrosting. I've looked to see if there is a calibration for this, but I can't find it. So watch out when defrosting! The control panel is very easy to learn, but it is sensitive to the touch which just takes a bit of getting used to. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with this microwave/oven combo.

Marginal at best

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes four minutes to pop 100 calorie popcorn. If I leave longer, say five minutes, it does not burn and leaves a lot of kernels We are in our 80's and my wife struggles with the controls Often having to open and close the door to start the oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave cannot pop one of her calorie popcorn I leave the popcorn in for four or five minutes. It doesn’t not burn. It simply does not pop everything. It leaves a lot more than expected Number kernels. Interestingly, it does not burn the popcorn, even when the popcorn is left towards the five minute mark in the microwave cooking

KitchenAid - Only choice for us
