Responsive, pressure-relieving, and naturally cool to the touch — our GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex delivers a buoyant feel that bounces back year after year. Sustainably harvested from rubber trees at our partner plantations in India, Guatemala, and Asia.

Organic Wool

Cool in summer and warm in winter, our wool is sourced from free-grazing sheep across the Himalayan foothills. It wicks moisture, regulates temperature, resists dust mites and odor, and serves as a natural flame barrier — eliminating the need for chemical flame retardants.

Organic Cotton

The first thing your skin touches is our organic cotton cover — soft, cool, and breathable against bare skin. It's the surface you feel every night, and it's made without the synthetic pesticides that travel through conventional cotton's supply chain and into your mattress.

Handcrafted in California

Avocado mattresses are handcrafted, not mass-produced, and never require zippers or assembly. Each features distinctive needle-tufted rosettes made from soft organic wool. Our craftspeople use long steel needles to pull organic cotton ribbons through every layer, securing up to 24 tufting points — binding the comfort system without chemical adhesives. This time-honored technique enhances durability and long-term comfort. It's why an Avocado mattress feels as good in year ten as it did the night you unboxed it.

More Coils for More Back Support

Our patent-pending innerspring system is made with recycled steel. The Firm (Tight-Top) uses up to 1,337 fabric-encased coils with two ½-inch natural coconut fiber pads, while the Medium (Standard) and Plush (Pillow-Top) use up to 1,379 fabric-encased coils. All three feature seven ergonomic zones — three interior ergonomic zones and reinforced head/footer and side rail zones for edge-to-edge support. Coils float independently to align your spine, distribute weight, relieve pressure points, and reduce motion transfer.

Our OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: Class I certification applies to the entire mattress — not just the cover or latex.
